LINC announces Paperclip Challenge 2011 winner

Award Ceremony

(L to R) BrightSpark Coordinator Aidan Stritch, Paperclip Challenge Winner Mark Sherwin

The winner of the BrightSpark Paperclip Challenge 2011 was recently announced as Mark Sherwin, a business student here at ITB.

Marks story of 7 furious swaps to go from paperclip to guitar, signed by local band member Mark Ferguson, is one of sheer determination and is in no doubt the clear winner. Mark spent the better part of 24 hours trading to win the Xbox 360 as well as the one of a kind Paperclip trophy.

In a further twist to the story, Mark has donated the Xbox to the student common room for the students of ITB to enjoy. A lesson can be learned from this selfless act!
