This week sees the annual Fingal Enterprise Week taking place throughout the region. The Week is crammed with opportunities for businesses and aspiring entrepreneurs and most events are completely free of charge to attend.
The topics covered this year were carefully selected to address the practical needs of businesses and include seminars and workshops on Digital marketing, Exporting, Dublin Food Forum, Chamber Business Briefings at breakfast, The Business of Ageing, a one-day Business Start-up Bootcamp, Women in Business Networking evening, Communicating through the media, Taxation tips, Masterclasses with IBM and PAYPAL, Business Pitching, National 50+ Enterprise Day, and Business Startup mentoring clinics running throughout the week.
As part of the event the LINC will be hosting a “Pitching for Investment” event on Thursday the 4th October from 6.00pm – 9.00pm. Businesses will be given the opportunity to pitch their business idea in two minutes to a panel of three judges in front of a live audience. This is a great opportunity for start-ups and pre-start ups who may be looking to pitch for investment in the future.
Fingal County Council and Bank of Ireland are kindly sponsoring the week of events in 2012.
