Wednesday evening, 2nd October 2013 saw the LINC host a “Pitching for Investment” event as part of the annual Fingal Enterprise Week.
It was designed to allow businesses in the Fingal/Dublin area, who are planning to Pitch for Investment now, or maybe in the future, to prepare themselves for such an activity. Twelve companies took this opportunity to practice that 120 second pitch live, in front of an audience and a panel of adjudicators, against the clock. The winner would receive a prize of €1000!
After strong competition, a single winner could not be decided upon which meant we had Joint Winners on the night, each receiving the prize of €500. The Joint winners where Aine Behan of Cortechs and Padraig Doolan – Beat Your Manager! Fantasy Games Ltd.

Beat Your Manager! Fantasy Games Ltd. is a smartphone app-based gaming platform, offering game users (for the first time) the opportunity to manage their favourite football club by using real-life performance data to promote active participation in the live game.
