the LINC to host “Create, Learn, Grow”™ Seminar on Corporate Governance, Monday January 19th

As part of our “Create, Learn, Grow”™ events at the LINC, we are hosting a workshop on Corporate Governance, Monday January 19th 2015.

The “Create, Learn, Grow”™ Programme is a series of workshops, seminars, events and competitions run throughout the year at the LINC for the benefit of all clients at the LINC, staff and students of ITB and business people within the community that would benefit from this programme. It is an opportunity to up skill in various practical business areas and network with lots of like-minded individuals. The beauty of these events is that not only are they short, practical and taught by some of Dublin’s top business professionals, but they are also completely free of charge to participants!

 Workshop Details:

Eileen McManus will present an engaging discussion on key governance issues facing directors to ensure companies are conducting the business with integrity and fairness, being transparent with regard to all transactions, making all the necessary disclosures and decisions and complying with all the laws of the land. There will also be a Q&A session on topics such as the enforcement work of the ODCE, common law duties of directors, and common breaches of company law.

 Facilitated by Eileen McManus from the Office of the Director of Corporate Enforcement (ODCE).

This workshop is scheduled to run in the Training Room of the LINC from 11.00am to 12.30pm January, 19th 2015.
